From what I’ve seen in Lagos and my small travels, everyone(or most companies) actually just use already existing agent networks. So the person that does Paga transactions in my area is also the Quickteller, Interswitch, Ikeja Disco, DSTV, Star Times, Swift, Spectranet and recently Facebook Express WiFi agent. So all a startup would need, would be to sell the service to this already existing agent in a specific area. Some of these people have been agents since the NITEL days. Of course, there are plenty areas where there are no agents at all and you’ll have to reach there yourself and find a business to partner with.
